Some I-670 lanes closing this week

To accommodate Kansas City Convention Center expansion efforts, some lanes of Interstate 670 will be closed this week.

All eastbound lanes of I-670 from the West I-670/South I-35 split to the East I-670/North I-70 split will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. starting Monday and running through Thursday. In addition, westbound I-670 will be closed on Monday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

During lane closures, eastbound and westbound traffic on I-70 will be routed to the north portion of the downtown loop on I-70. Eastbound South I-35 traffic wishing to use eastbound I-670 also will use this detour.
