Rhinehart Bridge re-opens Tuesday

The newly completed Rhinehart Bridge over Cedar Creek re-opens Tuesday, making travel along South Rhinehart Road possible again.

The one-lane bridge was shut down in October 2003 due to safety concerns after failing a fracture-critical inspection. The new single-span, pre-stress girder bridge has shoulders on both sides was constructed on the existing alignment.
