Intersection of 13th Street and Baltimore Avenue to close

The intersection of 13th Street and Baltimore Avenue will close to all traffic Wednesday at 9 a.m. to accommodate utility work required for the Power & Light District. It is estimated this closure will remain in effect until mid-December.

The 1300 block of Baltimore Avenue, previously restricted to northbound traffic, will be open to two-way traffic during this construction to assist with traffic flow and allow access to surrounding businesses.

In addition, the 1200 block of Main Street has been reopened to help alleviate downtown congestion.

Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians are reminded to use caution in areas adjacent to active construction sites. Conditions in these areas can change rapidly, which may expose people to unexpected dangerous situations.
