The
breathtaking foyer of the Municipal Auditorium Music Hall foretells
the splendor of this vintage 1936 fine arts theatre.
Italian marble floors and walls, floor-to-ceiling murals and elaborate
art deco chandeliers that inspired the Convention Center's Sky Stations
provide an elegant backdrop for any event.
With
seating for 2,400, the Music Hall offers all the amenities for
world-class productions orchestra pit, chorus dressing
rooms, star dressing rooms, green room, and high-quality lighting
and sound systems.
The
Music Halls beautiful antique pipe organ, built in 1927
to accompany silent movies, features an ivory and gold console
with more than 2,000 pipes and a variety of special effects, creating
an incredible sound that makes a thrilling highlight for your
event.
One
of four self-contained venues in the Municipal Auditorium, the
Music Hall has its own entrance on the south side of 13th Street,
with lighted marquee, box office, coat-check room, restrooms and
concessions. Visitors may also enter the Music Hall through the
Municipal Auditoriums
Grand Foyer, or from the Auditorium Plaza Garage by way of a beautiful underground
walkway.
