More than three hundred builders and subcontractors from across the metropolitan Kansas City area attended the 2005 Kansas City Works Forum, hosted by the City’s Capital Improvements Management Office (CIMO), on Tuesday, August 9th from 11:30AM-4:30PM at Bartle Hall Convention Center

This important event, hosted by CIMO, the City’s centralized project management division, provided construction and related industry professionals with a wealth of information about working with City agencies and CIMO's efforts to streamline government/contractor interaction.

KSHB news anchor Elizabeth Alex hosted the event, while Kansas City Business Journal editor Brian Kaberline moderated a roundtable discussion between City Manager Wayne Cauthen and leaders in the building trades community.
